Ban Tonmakok 1-5
Each Ban Tonmakok bungalow is
a twin-bed room with an air conditioning unit installed. Its appearance resembles tropical residence, a distinctive characteristic of which is a verandah usually attached in front of the house. However instead of being at the entrance, all verandahs are placed at the lakeside front of the houses. Except for Ban Tonmakok 3 & 4, they are quite different. Instead of being attached to the house, verandahs are detached and become open shelters of tropical outlooks. Standing free and facing the lake in front. Connected to the main houses by walkbridges.
Each Ban Tonmakok is situated in between Spanish Plums (Ellaeocarpus hygrophilus Kurz.), usually known for thais as Ton Makoknams from which its name is derived and behind very nice wind break tree line right along the lake of Vajiralongkorn Dam. Their location provides guests to fully enjoy the great scenery of the lake and mountainous range surrounded.
Exterior walls are exposed brickwork arranged well in order with horizontal breaking lines inserted. Its handsome wooden roof frames are revealed while the edges of rafters are well cut in shapes of reversed curves. They repeat the same look of their edges very nicely.
Interior walls are mortared but not plain at all. The breaking lines as seen on the exterior are maintained. Mortared walls which incorporate these breaking line of exposed brick pattern makes interior outlook very attractive. The floor is finished with custom ceramic tiles from Rajburi and a raised-up platform for beds is finished with wooden boards. The wooden ceiling is quite high leaning on bars bearing roof tiles. Dressing area and the bathroom are arranged together in a recessed room on a lowered level.
The arrangement of overall outlook successfully make each Ban Tonmakok achieve its own style to be a lovely vacation house for all guests.
In-house amenities provided include a television, a ceiling fan, a refrigerator and an in-house bathroom with a wash basin, a water closet and a warm shower.
