Breakfast is served during 7:00-10:30 at Thakhanoon Terrace with choices of American Breakfast and Thai rice soup. Toast with butter & jam, orange juice, hot morning drink : coffee / tea / Ovaltine is also included. Please inform our staff your choice when check-in.
Fresh coffee, decilious home-made sweet things and icecream of various favours are available at Lunalaya, a coffee room within Thakhanoon Terrace. Click on Lunalaya icon below for more information.

Food service time (except breakfast) may be varied depending on many factors. Mostly Thakanoon Terrace always serves as lakeview lounge for guests staying at Bansuan Thaveechaiphaphum.
Thakhanoon Terrace is wooden lakeside buildings with its combined appearance of Thai country pavilion or "Sala" and contemporary design. It consists of 2 main connected pavilions. The first one is the area for reception area, front desk and Lunalaya Coffee Room. The latter is the area for dining and breakfast. Both connected pavilion are situated on the lakeside. There is also lovely open space besides both main restuarant pavilions with homely-style seating.
Between late August to January, the reservoir is filled up with fresh water from the forest, reflecting jade colour of the surrounding. It seems to be like situated on the water, very pleasant to take a seat, have some tea or coffee as well as other refreshments and spend time reading one's favorite books. In such months, temperature seems to be cool more preferrable to enjoy daytime outdoor. In some years there may be flood situation. It however would not take long.
During dry season, outdoor dining area adjacent to the waterfront, right in front of the restaurant returns to its function and welcome guests to enjoy their meals outdoor and relax there after meals. The best time is in the early morning, at sunset and during the night. Picturesque twilight would inspire one's imagination of truly life. Watching the full moon is unmissable. Also in a dark night, watching a wonderful starry night is truly unforgettable.
When water recesses, a great field of greenery shade will appear right along the reservoir. It will please anyone's eyesight who has chance to experience it.
Our menus mostly are based on Thai food. However an American breakfast is always on our menus every morning for guests who enjoy western style morning meal. Preferable dishes for most guests are Thai-style fish dishes which can be cooked in various styles upon request. Other favourite dish to be mentioned is pakvan ban, Sauropus androgynus (L.) Merr, growned here, free from pesticide. At a certain time of the year some special vegetables such as pumpkin young leaf and pakkud, Diplazium esculentum (Retz.) Sw. or young Paco Fern are available, irresistible for those who are health concerned. They can be cooked in various styles such as soup, Yam (thai-style salad) or stir-fried with fresh chili.
Thakhanoon Terrace can serve approximately 50-60 guests.
For groups, several set menus can be arranged upon request.
