Ban Puangkram 1-8
Each Ban Puangkram is a bungalow with an air conditioning unit installed. Its overall outlook is of tropical residence, usually a verandah of which is placed in front of the house. Exterior walls are exposed brickwork with horizontal tiny bands of brickwork pattern inserted. Such arrangement eliminates monotonous touch of normal brickwork. Its natural colour of baked brick seems to warm up overall atmosphere. Wooden roof structural frames are revealed and arranged well in order. Edges of all rafters are well cut in reverse curve shapes. Although its appearance is not thai traditional architecture, it however resembles warm atmosphere of thai residence in the recent past and expresses its warm welcome to all guests.
Interior walls are mortored and painted. The look of horizontal tiny bands are still maintained as seen outside. Mortared walls which incorporate these tiny exposed bands make interior outlook rather unique. Its wooden ceiling is attached on bars bearing roof tiles. This arrangement makes the physical ambience of the room much comfortable and revealed all its handsome rafters.
Interior floor is finished with custom floor tiles from Rajburi, so is the verandah floor. An area for beds is raised up a little and finished with wooden boards.
